RCN gets bridge order to extend exclusivity to Oct. 12

Washington, Oct. 5 - RCN Corp. obtained another bridge order extending its exclusive right to file a reorganization plan and its exclusive right to solicit votes for the plan until Oct. 12.

Its previous bridge order gave the company until Oct. 5.

RCN is a Princeton, N.J.-based telecommunications provider.

The company filed for bankruptcy on May 27. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-13638.
