RBC Global Asset will reopen PH&N fund to new investors on April 6

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, April 2 – RBC Global Asset Management said that the Phillips, Hager & North High Yield Bond fund will reopen to new investors on April 6.

The fund aims to provide a high level of income and the opportunity for capital appreciation by investing primarily in a diversified portfolio of fixed income securities issued by Canadian and/or foreign corporations and governments, according to a news release.

The fund was capped to new investors on July 10, 2019.

It now has a limited amount of additional capacity, allowing for purchases by new investors.

RBC Global said it may cap the fund or otherwise restrict investment at a later date.

RBC Global Asset Management, based in Toronto, is part of RBC Wealth Management.
