New Issue: Raptor Pharmaceutical plans $15.06 million private placement of units

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 9 - Raptor Pharmaceutical Corp. said it has arranged a $15.06 million private placement of units. JMP Securities LLC is the agent.

The company will sell 4,897,614 units at $3.075 apiece. Each unit consists of one common share and one warrant, with each five-year warrant exercisable at $3.075.

The strike price and the price per share reflect a 3.89% premium to the closing share price of $2.96 on Aug. 6.

Raptor is a Novato, Calif., biotechnology company that bioengineers novel drugs and drug-targeting platforms derived from the human receptor-associated protein and related proteins.
