Fitch affirms Rand Water

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Rand Water's national long-term and senior ratings at AA+(zaf).

The outlook remains stable.

The utility's ratings factor in a high level of implied support from the national government.

South Africa's long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating is BBB+ and its long-term local-currency issuer default rating is A. The outlook is stable.
