New Issue: Rand Capital settles $1.23 million private placement of common stock

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 13 - Rand Capital Corp. settled a private placement of shares for $1.23 million on Aug. 12, according to an 8-K filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company sold 358,398 common shares. It may sell up to 1.1 million of the shares in future closings.
Rand Capital is a venture capital investment company in Buffalo, N.Y.
