Railtrack bonds, exchangeables redeemed

New York, Oct. 10 - Railtrack plc said it redeemed its listed debt securities on Thursday.

Included in the redemption are Railtrack's £135.531 million 9.125% bonds due 2006, £350 million 5.875% bonds due 2009, £100.679 million 9.625% bonds due 2016, £300 million 7.375% bonds due 2022, £250 million 5.875% bonds due 2028, £400 million 3.50% exchangeable bonds due 2009 and €11.5 million index-linked notes due 2009.
