RadioShack sees March operating loss rise to $81.3 million; sales down

New York, April 30 – RadioShack Corp. marked an operating loss of $81.3 million for March on net sales of $107.3 million, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

In comparison, the company reported an operating loss of $32.3 million for Feb. 6 through Feb. 28 and net sales of $134.2 million.

RadioShack’s net loss for March was $95.9 million, increasing from a February net loss of $42.8 million.

The company also had cash and cash equivalents of $44.9 million as of March 31, dropping from $94.7 million as of Feb. 28.

RadioShack is a Fort Worth, Texas-based technology retailer that filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 5. Its Chapter 11 case number is 15-10197.
