RadioShack cancels lease auction round; sale hearing set for Friday

Pittsburgh, March 25 – RadioShack Corp. cancelled its March 25 “round two lease auction” after it failed to receive multiple bids for any of the leases in the round, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

A hearing on the lease sale is scheduled for Friday.

RadioShack is a Fort Worth, Texas-based technology retailer that filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 5. Its Chapter 11 case number is 15-10197.
