BV Pharmaceutical changes name to Radial Energy, to focus on oil and gas

Tampa, Fla., April 10 - BV Pharmaceutical, Inc. announced a corporate name change to Radial Energy, Inc., effective immediately.

The name change reflects a planned shift toward the energy sector, in which the company will concentrate on the acquisition, exploration, development and production of domestic and international oil and gas projects, according to a news release.

On Feb. 13 the company announced its intention to raise up to $2 million and at least $100,000 through a private placement of units of stock and warrants.

The offering began Feb. 21 and through March 28 the company had sold securities raising $230,000, according to BV's most recent 10KSB filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Bellingham, Wash.-based Radial Energy previously operated a database of DNA information and analysis.
