Moody’s gives Assured notes Baa1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned Assured Guaranty US Holdings, Inc.’s planned guaranteed senior notes due 2028 a Baa1 rating.

Parent Assured Guaranty Ltd., which the agency rates Baa1, will guarantee the notes.

The company expects to use the proceeds to redeem its senior notes maturing in 2024.

The outlook is unchanged at stable.
