Assurant aims to conduct offering of fixed-rate senior notes due 2030

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 15 – Assurant Inc. intends to price dollar-denominated fixed-rate senior notes due 2030, according to a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call and then a par call.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Wells Fargo Securities LLC and Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to fund the purchase of up to $100 million of the company’s $375 million of 6.75% notes due 2034 and to redeem all or a portion of its $300 million of floating-rate senior notes due 2021.

Assurant is a New York-based provider of risk management products and services.
