Assurant offers senior notes due 2026 via three bookrunners

Los Angeles, Feb. 21 – Assurant, Inc. intends to price fixed-rate senior notes due 2026, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will feature a make-whole call and then a par call.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Wells Fargo Securities LLC and Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC are the joint bookrunners.

U.S. Bank Trust Co., NA is the trustee.

Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP is counsel for the issuer. Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP is counsel for the underwriters.

Proceeds will be used, with cash on hand, to redeem a portion of the company’s $225 million outstanding 4.2% senior notes due 2023.
