Assurant to redeem some or all 4% notes due 2023 via new notes

Los Angeles, June 10 – Assurant, Inc. plans to redeem all or a portion of its $350 million outstanding 4% senior notes due 2023 using proceeds from an offering of new notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The insurance company is based in New York.
