S&P rates Associated Electric, Mo., bonds AA

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an AA rating to Missouri State Environmental Improvement and Energy Resources Authority's $71.55 million of series 2008 pollution control revenue refunding bonds issued on behalf of Associated Electric Cooperative Inc., the bonds' obligor.

S&P also said it assigned its AA issuer credit rating to Associated.

The outlook is stable.
