Italy’s Assicurazioni Generali to redeem £495 million perpetuals

Buffalo, N.Y., Dec. 22 – Assicurazioni Generali SpA issued a notice of redemption for the £167.15 million outstanding of its £495 million 6.416% perpetual fixed-to-floating rate notes (ISIN: XS0283627908), according to an announcement Wednesday.

The notes, which were issued Feb. 8, 2007, will be redeemed on Feb. 8, 2022, which is an interest payment and reset date.

The notes will be redeemed in full at par plus the accrued interest up to, but excluding, the redemption date.

Generali is a Trieste, Italy-based insurance and asset management provider.
