Fitch rates Puget Sound Energy notes A

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an A rating to Puget Sound Energy Inc.'s offering of $600 million senior secured notes due 2048.

The outlook is stable.

Proceeds will be used to pay at maturity $200 million 6.74% due June 15, 2018, pay down a portion of outstanding commercial paper and for general corporate purposes.
