Puerto Rico Public Finance to redeem all 2001 series A bonds

Madison, Wis., July 1 - Puerto Rico Public Finance Corp. said it will redeem its 2001 series A bonds in full on Aug. 1.

The following bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date:

• $9.38 million of 4.4% bonds due Aug. 1, 2012;

• $9.81 million of 4.5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2013;

• $7.9 million of 5.5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2014;

• $2.4 million of 4.55% bonds due Aug. 1, 2014;

• $9.455 million of 5.5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2015;

• $1.41 million of 4.65% bonds due Aug. 1, 2015;

• $9.775 million of 5.5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2016;

• $1.695 million of 4.75% bonds due Aug. 1, 2016;

• $10.45 million of 5.5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2017;

• $1.655 million of 4.8% bonds due Aug. 1, 2017;

• $12.34 million of 5.5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2018;

• $440,000 of 4.85% bonds due Aug. 1, 2018;

• $13.12 million of 5.5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2019;

• $380,000 of 4.9% bonds due Aug. 1, 2019;

• $13.705 million of 5.5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2020;

• $555,000 of 4.9% bonds due Aug. 1, 2020;

• $15.03 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2021;

• $15.83 million of 5.375% bonds due Aug. 1, 2022;

• $16.705 million of 5.375% bonds due Aug. 1, 2023;

• $17.625 million of 5.375% bonds due Aug. 1, 2024;

• $100.34 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2029; and

• $51.4 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2031.

Puerto Rico Public Finance is a subsidiary of the Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico. The San Juan, Puerto Rico, corporation helps agencies in the commonwealth meet their financing requirements.
