Public Storage files automatic shelf covering stock, preferreds, debt

Knoxville, Tenn., June 11 - Public Storage, Inc. filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3-ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common shares of beneficial interest, preferred shares of beneficial interest, equity shares of beneficial interest, depositary shares, warrants, debt securities and units.

The securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used to make investments in self-storage facilities, including development, interests in partnerships and other entities and mortgage loans, and for general corporate purposes.

The Glendale, Calif., real estate investment trust acquires, develops, owns and operates self-storage facilities.
