Public Service Co. of Oklahoma files $600 million notes shelf

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 19 - Public Service Co. of Oklahoma filed a $600 million unsecured notes shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Proceeds will be used for funding the utility's construction program and for other general corporate purposes.

The subsidiary of American Electric Power System is based in Tulsa, Okla.
