Fitch rates PSC of New Hampshire bond A+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an A+ rating to Public Service Co. of New Hampshire's (PSNH) first mortgage bond issuance.

The agency said it affirmed the issuer’s A+ senior secured ratings on Aug. 10.

The proceeds will be used to repay at maturity the $325 million outstanding of 3.5% first mortgage bonds, series S, due Nov. 1.

The outlook is stable.
