Public Service Colorado selling 10-, 30-year mortgage bonds Tuesday

New York, March 19 - Public Service Co. of Colorado is planning a sale of first mortgage bonds (A2/A/A) in two parts for Tuesday pricing, according to a market source and a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The offering includes notes due March 15, 2023 and bonds due March 15, 2043.

Goldman Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, UBS Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to repay short-term borrowings, to fund the maturity of $250 million 4.875% first mortgage bonds on March 1 and for operational needs.

The electric and gas utility is based in Denver.
