Moody’s revises PTT outlook to positive

Moody's Investors Service said it revised its outlook for PTT PCL to positive from stable.

“The change in PTT's ratings outlook to positive is in line with the rating action on Thailand's sovereign rating and reflects the company's strategically important role as Thailand's national integrated oil and gas company,” said Vikas Halan, a Moody's senior vice president, in a press release.

Moody’s affirmed the company’s Baa1 issuer and senior unsecured ratings.

PTT is closely linked to Thailand, it’s largest shareholder, and Moody’s said the government provides “significant oversight.”
