Moody's: PTTEP unaffected

Moody's Investors Service said that PTT Exploration and Production's proposed acquisition of Cove Energy plc is still in its preliminary phase and therefore has no immediate rating impact.

However, should the company's decision to pursue Cove materialize, its ratings could come under pressure, depending on its chosen method of funding, the agency said.
