Fitch affirms Prudential

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Prudential Financial, Inc.'s A+ issuer default rating and A senior debt rating.

The outlook is stable.

Ratings consider the company's strong capitalization, broad business diversification and successful execution of acquisitions, the agency said.

The ratings recognize the organization's strong market position in multiple product segments in the United States as well as its profitable international life insurance businesses, the agency said.
