Prudential Financial to redeem junior subordinated fixed-to-floaters

Lexington, Ky., May 1 – Prudential Financial Inc. will redeem in full its outstanding $1.5 billion 5.625% fixed-to-floating rate junior subordinated notes due 2043 (Cusip: 744320AM4), according to a press release.

The notes will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on June 15.

Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee.

The financial services company is based in Newark, N.J.
