Fitch revises Protective Life view to positive

Fitch Ratings said it revised the outlook for Protective Life Corp. to positive from stable, citing the revision to positive of the company’s parent Dai-ichi Life Holdings Inc.

Fitch classifies Protective Life as a “very important subsidiary” to Dai-Ichi.

The agency affirmed its A- rating for the company as well as its BBB+ senior debt ratings and BBB- subordinated debt rating.
