S&P affirms Prospect Capital
S&P said it affirmed its BBB- issuer credit rating on Prospect Capital Corp.
The outlook is negative.
The agency said the affirmation reflects Prospect Capital’s broad capabilities as the second-largest business development company, with diversified origination channels, as well as its favorable funding profile and strong liquidity, balanced by a portfolio that S&P believes is somewhat riskier than that of peers.
