Moody's: Prospect Capital not affected by waiver

Moody's Investors Service said the ratings of Prospect Capital Funding LLC and Prospect Capital Corp. are not affected by a request for waiver.

The agency said it reviewed the issue and concluded that the waiver does not, in and of itself, result in a downgrade or withdrawal of the current ratings. Moody's said it does not express an opinion as to whether the waiver could have non credit-related effects.

Moody's said it was informed that, in connection with the execution of the waiver, all requisite consents and approvals have been received.
