By Devika Patel and Cristal Cody

Knoxville, Tenn., May 20 – Prospect Capital Corp. set price talk for a $300 million sale of notes due Nov. 15, 2026 in the Treasuries plus 310 basis points area, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission and a market source.

The notes feature a make-whole call initially and then a par call.

Barclays, RBC Capital Markets Corp. and Goldman Sachs & Co. are the bookrunners.

The New York-based asset management company plans to use the proceeds to redeem its $70.8 million of 6.25% senior notes due 2028, repay borrowings under its revolving credit facility and refinance debt.
