ProQuest to repay bank and bond debt with asset sale proceeds

New York, Dec. 15 - ProQuest Co. plans on repaying its entire outstanding bank debt and senior note debt balances using a portion of the proceeds from the sale of its ProQuest Information and Learning segment to Cambridge Information Group, according to a company news release.

The company anticipates needing $60 million to repay all the debt, including make-whole payments and fees.

ProQuest is an Ann Arbor, Mich.-based publisher of information and education products.
