S&P assigns Proctor & Gamble notes AA-

S&P said it assigned an AA- rating to Procter & Gamble Co.'s planned euro-denominated senior unsecured notes.

“All our existing ratings on the company, including our AA- long-term issuer credit rating, are unchanged,” the agency said in a press release.

P&G will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including repayment of maturing debt and shareholder distributions.

The outlook is stable.
