Fitch cuts view on six Russian banks
Fitch Ratings said it revised to stable from positive the outlooks on six Russian banks.
The revisions reflect the significant near-term liquidity and asset quality risks that the country's banks face, Fitch said, although these are significantly mitigated by the support currently being provided to the sector by the Russian authorities.
Negative rating actions on individual banks remain possible in light of liquidity and asset quality concerns, the agency said.
