Fitch cuts view on six Russian banks

Fitch Ratings said it revised to stable from positive the outlooks on six Russian banks.

The revisions reflect the significant near-term liquidity and asset quality risks that the country's banks face, Fitch said, although these are significantly mitigated by the support currently being provided to the sector by the Russian authorities.

Negative rating actions on individual banks remain possible in light of liquidity and asset quality concerns, the agency said.

The banks with revised outlooks also had some ratings affirmed. The banks include:

Nomos-Bank's long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating was affirmed at B+, national long-term rating at A(rus) and short-term foreign-currency issuer default rating at B.

Promsvyazbank's long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating was affirmed at B+ and short-term foreign- currency issuer default rating at B.

National Reserve Bank's long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating was affirmed at B, national long-term rating at BBB(rus) and short-term foreign-currency issuer default rating at B.

B.I.N. Bank's long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating was affirmed at B-, national long-term rating at BB(rus) and short-term foreign-currency issuer default rating at B.

National Bank Trust's long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating was affirmed at B- and short-term foreign-currency issuer default rating at B.

Probusinessbank's long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating was affirmed at B-, long-term local-currency issuer default rating at B-, national long-term rating at BB+(rus) and short-term foreign-currency issuer default rating at B.
