Primus Guaranty files $250 million shelf

New York, June 19 - Primus Guaranty, Ltd. registered to sell up to $250 million of securities in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Covered by the shelf are debt securities, warrants, purchase contracts, units, preferred shares, common shares and depositary shares. Securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will go toward general corporate purposes.

Based in Hamilton, Bermuda, Primus is a holding company whose subsidiaries are focused on credit swaps.
