Moody's assigns Aa2.sk national rating to Presov

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a long-term national scale rating of Aa2.sk to the Slovakian city of Presov.

The outlook is stable.

Moody's said the rating is based on the city's improving financial performances, moderate debt burden and favorable repayment schedule. Presov's debt profile is mainly of medium-term maturity and its repayment schedule does not feature any peaks.

The agency said it believes that the city's improving budget balances, in combination with an even debt repayment schedule, will allow it to maintain positive net operating balances.
