Moody's ups Precision Castparts

Moody's Investors Service said it upgraded Precision Castparts Corp.'s senior unsecured and short-term ratings to A2 and Prime-1 from A3 and Prime-2 respectively.

The outlook is stable.

Moody's said the action recognizes Precision Castparts' strong profitability, considerable free cash flow generation, limited financial leverage and favorable prospects established by build-rates for commercial aircraft over the next few years.
