Praxair sets talk for two-part notes offering due 2020, 2026

Virginia Beach, Sept. 21 – Praxair, Inc. set price talk on Monday for a benchmark two-part offering of notes (A2/A) in tranches due 2020 and 2026, according to a market source and a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes due 2020 are talked in the 85 basis points area over Treasuries, and the tranche due 2026 is talked in the 115 bps area over Treasuries.

Bookrunners are Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., HSBC Securities and MUFG.

Proceeds are for general corporate purposes, including debt repayment.

The industrial gas company is based in Danbury, Conn.
