Fitch rates Power Grid program BBB-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned Power Grid Corp. of India Ltd.'s (BBB-/stable) $1 billion medium-term note program a rating of BBB-.

Notes issued under the program may be in any currency or of any tenor.

The program’s rating is aligned with Power Grid’s senior unsecured class rating on the basis that the notes issued under the program will constitute Power Grid’s direct, unconditional, unsubordinated and unsecured obligations and will rank pari passu among themselves and equally with all other unsecured unsubordinated obligations of Power Grid.
