Moody's rates Posco bond A2

Moody's Investors Service said it has assigned an A2 senior unsecured debt rating to the ¥50 billion samurai bond issuance announced by Pohang Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. (Posco).

Moody's said the A2 rating reflects Posco's globally competitive cost position and conservative financial leverage that is supported by a track record of free cash-flow generation.
