Pomeroy IT sets meeting date to vote on merger with Platinum Equity

By Lisa Kerner

Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 26 - Pomeroy IT Solutions, Inc. will ask shareholders to approve the company's merger with Project Skyline Intermediate Holding Corp. at a special meeting at 9 a.m. ET on Nov. 11.

The record date for the meeting is Sept. 30, according to a Pomeroy IT news release.

Skyline is indirectly owned by Platinum Equity Capital Partners II, which agreed in September to acquire Pomeroy IT, a Hebron, Ky.-based provider of information technology services, for $6.50 per share.

Pomeroy IT said it will close the merger promptly following shareholder approval and it has requested that its shares cease trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market effective Nov. 16.
