Fitch: Poland up to positive

Fitch Ratings said it revised the outlook on the Republic of Poland's long-term foreign current rating to positive from stable and affirmed the rating at BBB+.

The agency also affirmed the long-term local currency rating at A with a stable outlook. At the same time, the short-term rating and the country ceiling are affirmed at F2 and A, respectively.

"The positive outlook reflects a number of encouraging trends, including the positive impact of previous structural reforms on international trade performance and macroeconomic stability," said Fitch analyst Edward Parker.
