Moody's rates Poland bonds A2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A2 rating with a stable outlook to the Government of Poland's Swiss franc-denominated double-tranche bond issuance maturing in 2015 and 2018.

The A2-rated bonds issued on April 17 include a CHF 375 million floating-rate note and a CHF 450 million 2.25% coupon bond issued to cover an upcoming Swiss franc redemption.

With this placement, Moody's said it estimates that the sovereign has covered roughly 60% of its gross financing needs for the year.
