Fitch rates Poland notes A-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned the Poland's $1 billion of 5.125% global notes due April 21, 2021 a rating of A-.

The outlook is stable.

The rating is in line with Poland's A- long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating, the agency said.

Poland's ratings are supported by a strong growth performance, macroeconomic stability, a credible monetary and exchange rate regime, significant fiscal financing flexibility, a relatively strong banking sector and political stability, the agency added.

However, Poland's public finances have deteriorated in recent years, Fitch said.
