Poland files $5 billion shelf registration covering debt securities
By Devika Patel
Knoxville, Tenn., April 12 - The State Treasury of the Republic of Poland filed a $5 billion debt securities shelf registration in a Schedule B filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Some of the debt was previously registered under the country's May 27 $2 billion shelf and remained unsold. This debt will be carried forward under the new shelf.
Proceeds will be used to finance Poland's State budget borrowing requirements or for general financing purposes.
