Poland taps HSBC, ING, Societe Generale, Unicredit for euro bond deal

Atlanta, Jan. 7 - Poland has mandated HSBC, ING, Societe Generale and Unicredit for a planned benchmark-sized, euro-denominated bond offering, according to a statement on the Polish Finance Ministry's web site.

The transaction will be launched "in the near future," subject to market conditions, the statement said.

Other details on the size and timing of the transaction were not immediately available Thursday.
