New Issue: Malaysia's Poh Kong issues RM 50 million seven-year Islamic MTNs

Madison, Wis., Nov. 23 - Poh Kong Holdings Bhd. issued RM 50 million of Islamic medium-term notes due Nov. 22, 2018 on Tuesday, according to an announcement by Maybank Investment Bank Bhd.

Maybank and RHB Investment Bank Bhd. are the joint principal advisers, joint lead arrangers and joint lead managers for the notes.

The notes were issued under the company's Islamic commercial paper/Islamic medium-term note program of up to RM 150 million principal amount, which is guaranteed by Danajamin Nasional Bhd.

Proceeds will be used to refinance existing borrowings and restructuring costs.

Poh Kong is a Kuala Lumpur-based jewelry retailer.
