PNC Financial Services markets senior notes via four bookrunners

Tupelo, Miss., May 16 – PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. plans price an offering of senior notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and PNC Capital Markets LLC are the bookrunners.

PNC Financial Services’ subsidiary, PNC Bank, NA, also is conducting a concurrent private offering of senior notes under its $40 billion global bank note program.

Proceeds from PNC Financial Services’ offering will be used for general corporate purposes.

PNC Financial Services is a Pittsburgh-based financial services holding company.
