By Aleesia Forni

Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 23 - Following a quiet start to the week, the investment-grade primary market is expected to see more activity on Wednesday.

New York Life Global Funding and PNC Bank NA are both set to hit the market during the session.

In trading, the secondary market saw Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s 3.625% notes due 2023 widen on Wednesday, one trader said.

The source quoted the notes at 189 basis points bid, 4 bps wider compared to levels seen Tuesday at another desk.

The New York City-based financial services company sold the notes at 185 bps over Treasuries on Jan. 16.
