PMC Core Fixed Income Fund adds Thomas Marthaler to management team

San Luis Obispo, Calif., April 15 - Trust for Professional Managers announced it has added Thomas Marthaler to the portfolio management team for the PMC Core Fixed Income Fund, effective April 15, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Marthaler joins Andrew Johnson in managing the portion of the fund managed by subadviser Neuberger Berman Fixed Income LLC.

The fund seeks current income consistent with low volatility of principal by investing at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in fixed-income securities that are rated investment grade or better.

Chicago-based Envestnet Asset Management, Inc. serves as the fund's investment adviser.
