Malaysia's PLUS Expressways to raise RM 10.545 billion in Islamic bonds

New York, Aug. 24 - PLUS Expressways Bhd. said it plans to raise RM10.545 billion of Islamic paper.

The issuer plans to sell RM2.26 billion of zero coupon Sukuk series 1 bonds and RM2.41 billion of zero coupon Sukuk series 2 bonds.

It also plans to issue RM4.5 billion of Sukuk series 3 medium-term notes and RM1.375 billion of zero coupon Sukuk series 3 bonds.

The company said it will also revise the principal terms and conditions of its RM5.1 billion in Bai' Bithaman Ajil Islamic securities.

Proceeds will be used for general funding requirements starting from year 2018 and onwards.

Kuala Lumpur-based PLUS is a Malaysia-based investment holding company engaged in the provision of expressway operation services.
