Fitch ups city of Plock view to positive

Fitch Ratings said it changed the Polish city of Plock's national rating outlook to positive from stable and affirmed its long-term national rating at A-(pol).

The positive outlook reflects the improvement of the city's operating performance and fiscal flexibility. It also includes expectations that the city will avoid any servicing risk related to pre-financing loans that are used for EU-approved investment projects.

Fitch said the rating could be upgraded if the city of Plock continues to post sound budgetary performance and its debt remains moderate.
